Architectural Services
- DEC will provide Traditional Design Services including needs assessments, system studies and energy audits. Project design and documentation can also be provided including typical schematic design, design development, construction documents, construction administration and commissioning phases.
- Additional services such as construction cost estimating, value engineering, existing building record document production can be provided when required.
- For Design Build Projects, we can provide concept design, equipment space sizing, utility service coordination and preparation of design build criteria specifications and concept drawings.
Owners Representative
Typically on most occasions an Owner may only need Engineering and Architect services. However there may be occasions where an Owner needs professional representation. In this instance, an Owner will need engineers to help manage and oversee their projects and to provide their engineering expertise as if they were an “in-house” employee. These Owners services include the following:
- Function as In-House Engineer
- Write engineering standards
- Perform code searches/investigation
- Assist in establishing project scope and cost
- Write criteria/requirements
- Review drawings, write ups, etc. prepared by project Architects and Engineers
- Serve as the Engineer-of-Record or oversee the Engineer-of-Record
- Attend project meetings
- Assist with resolving construction issues
- Review equipment shop drawings
- Provide field observations
